A refugee between the ages of 14 and 24 who has made an outstanding contribution or significant achievement in one or more of the following areas: academics, arts & culture, sports, community & volunteer activities.

2012 Award will go to Tresor Namwira from Namwira Folks

A refugee who has achieved success in the creation or operation of a business in Manitoba.

2012 Award will go to Patrick Tshovo

Person who has demonstrated leadership, dedication and a spirit of compassion in the areas of immigrant services and has made important contributions to enhancing the lives of refugees in Canada.

2012 Award will go to Jimm Carr “Business Council of Manitoba”

An employer, government or non-profit organization that has made outstanding achievements in implementing diversity initiatives in the workplace or has made significant contributions by caring about refugees in Canada.

2012 Award will go to Bintou Sacko from Accueil francophone and Paul Kambaja.
